Patient Participation Group

Healthwatch Bromley is your local health and social care champion. From Beckenham to Biggin Hill and everywhere in between, we make sure National Health Services (NHS) leaders and other decision makers hear your voice and use your feedback to improve care. Please take five minutes to share your story with us.

At Addington Road Surgery, we continually strive to enhance the services we provide to our patients, especially given the significant changes within the NHS.

To ensure we focus on the right areas, we actively engage with our patients through a Patient Participation Group (PPG). Anyone who is a patient at Addington Road Surgery can participate in the Patient Participation Group (PPG). The PPG operates through a committee that handles core responsibilities and involves other members as needed. Our ideal PPG includes a diverse mix of patients of all ages and genders.

The PPG Can:

  • Collect patient feedback
  • Improve services and resource use
  • Enhance communication
  • Promote health
  • Influence service decisions
  • Offer practical support

The PPG Isn’t:

  • A complaint forum
  • A fundraising group
  • Time-consuming

The PPG Purpose:

  • Facilitate communication
  • Involve patients in service improvement
  • Address issues and provide feedback
  • Propose changes based on surveys
  • Support health awareness and patient education

The Committee:

Chair: Marie Fuggle – A message from the chairperson
Vice Chair: Nick Ram
Secretary: Catherine Marshall
Officers: Margaret Hart, Gillian Howes, Eve Knight, Sue McCulloch, Moji Muse, Marion Hitchcock
