Once the doctor has agreed, you may be able to obtain repeat prescriptions for long-term medication and they will come with a tear-off section which becomes your repeat prescription request form. Tick those medicines you require and put the form through the front door letter-box or in the prescription box on the wall, to the right of the reception desk. Most repeat prescriptions are now issued on the practice computer and are issued for two months' medication at one time. If you need a medication which has not yet been added to the computer, please put this is writing to avoid mistakes. Prescriptions may be collected during surgery hours two working days later. Alternatively, you may post the request to us enclosing a stamped addressed envelope and we will be happy to post the prescription back to you. Other than in exceptional circumstances, we do not accept requests for medication over the telephone, as this blocks the line for more urgent calls and mistakes can be made.
The Practice is pleased to provide patients with access to its Clinical System via a Secure Web Interface. You can order your repeat prescriptions online.
